Jiangsu Institute of Information Technology
Jiangsu Institute of Information Technology was approved by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government in August, 2002. It was formed by the merger of the former Wuxi Radio Industry School and the former Xishan Vocational Education Center School, and was affiliated to the Education Department of Jiangsu Province. The college undertook the pilot work of the joint-stock system reform and the new operating mechanism reform of the provincial education department, and achieved remarkable results.

A whole school

The college now has five departments and two departments, including electronic information engineering, with 25 majors and 40 professional directions, with distinctive school-running characteristics and complete varieties and professional categories.

Construction of new campus

With the strong support of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, the College is making every effort to build a new campus with an area of more than 960 mu, a scale of10.2 million people and a total construction area of 340,000 square meters in Outang Vocational Education Park.
