Tiantan Park
The Temple of Heaven is the place where emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties "offered sacrifices to heaven" and "prayed for blessings", which is located on the east side outside Zhengyangmen. The altar is round in the north and round in the south, which means "the sky is round and the place is round". When you come to Beijing, Tiantan Park is also one of the places where you must punch in. The Hall of Prayer for the New Year, the Forbidden City, the Zhai Palace and the Yinsanshi are all worth visiting slowly.
As a patriotic education base, Tiantan Park has recently started to open to minors under 18 free of charge. Minors can enter the park with their ID cards without making an appointment.
