Shaoguan University dormitory is divided into many types, the main type is four rooms with beds and tables. The dormitory is equipped with air conditioning, which is warm in winter and cool in summer. Students can take a bath in public places in the apartment, and are equipped with washing machines, hot water rooms and other equipment. Students can eat in the canteen on campus or buy daily necessities in the supermarket.

Brief introduction of Shaoguan University

Shaoguan University is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a comprehensive application-oriented undergraduate college, a pilot unit for comprehensive reform of internationalization of local higher education, and a Chinese cultural heritage base. The college, formerly known as Shaoguan Teachers College, was established in July. 1958.

1In July 1989, Shaoguan Teachers College merged with Shaoguan University organized by Shaoguan Municipal People's Government, and 1990 was named Shaoguan University in February. In March 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), Shaoguan University merged with Shaoguan Education College sponsored by Shaoguan Municipal People's Government, upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Shaoguan College.

The school is located in the world geological park Danxia Mountain and the seat of Nanhua Temple, the ancestral temple of Zen Buddhism, Shaoguan, a famous historical and cultural city in northern Guangdong.
