What plays are there in Xiamen?
Taiwanese opera is based on Taiwanese opera, which spreads in southern Fujian and absorbs the nutrition of Liyuan Opera, Beiguan Opera, Gaojia Opera, Beijing Opera and Fujian Opera. It was born in Taiwan Province Island in the early 20th century, and it is the only opera in China that was born in Taiwan Province Province. It spreads in Taiwan Province Province, Fujian, South Fujian and Southeast Asia where China people live.

The history of a Taiwanese opera can be said to be the history of cross-strait cultural exchanges. Minnan singers spread to Taiwan Province Province with Tangshan Crossing Taiwan Province Province. After hundreds of years of brewing, they finally created a "seven-character tune". The appearance of "seven-character tune" marks the birth of Taiwanese opera.

Taiwanese opera soon spread to Xiamen, and quickly spread throughout southern Fujian and Southeast Asia. At the beginning of the century, under the guidance of Taiwan Province master Dai Shuibao, Xiamen established the first two Taiwanese opera classes, namely, Double Everest and New Women's Class, and then the famous Taiwanese opera classes, namely, Yulanshe and Nisheng Society, also came to Xiamen. The performance in Minnan caused a sensation. Taiwan Province Taiwanese opera artists Sai Yuejin and Yue Zhonge stayed in Minnan.

During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period, Shao and other Minnan folk artists combined Taiwanese opera with Taiwan Province singers to create "miscellaneous tunes", which promoted the new development of Taiwanese opera.

From 65438 to 0948, Xiamen Duma Opera Troupe performed in Taiwan Province and stayed in Taiwan Province Province for a long time. Dumaban brought the "chop suey tune" to Taiwan Province Province, which was warmly welcomed by artists and audiences in Taiwan Province Province and called it "Dumaban tune". Since then, chop suey and seven-character tune have become the two most important vocals in Taiwanese opera. Taiwanese opera is a valuable art jointly created and owned by people on both sides of the strait, and it has become an important spiritual and cultural bond to maintain people on both sides of the strait.
