Time flies, fleeting. In a blink of an eye, college life has passed for half a year. However, when everything wakes up like a dream, it's time to leave my alma mater where I studied for four years and step into the society to accept the test of society.
In order to increase practical experience, I used the internship time arranged by the school and found the internship unit and post related to my major according to my own advantages and professional ability. And complete the relevant internship tasks in the enterprise within the specified time.
With the help of my friends, I was lucky enough to practice in Haikou Tongda Holiday Travel Agency for two months. I am very grateful to my friends and company for giving me such a rare opportunity, and I sincerely thank my colleagues for their meticulous care and help during this period.
From June 5438+1 October 1 to March1,2008, I worked as an intern in Tongda Holiday Travel Agency in Haikou City, Hainan Province for two months. During the internship, I mainly do tourism market research and office secretarial work. During the two-month internship, I was able to experience the society personally, learned a lot of knowledge that I couldn't learn in class, and got the opportunity to combine the theoretical knowledge of classroom teaching with social practice. Through this internship, I have a preliminary understanding of the operation, management and organizational structure of travel agencies. In practice, I have realized some basic information of tourism and its importance to regional and even national economic development, supplemented my limited theoretical knowledge and improved my practical operation ability.
Although it is the first time to work in a travel agency, it is only two months, but through recent observation and thinking, as well as the careful education of school teachers on weekdays, I also have some superficial ideas and suggestions on the development of Hainan travel agency.
At present, Hainan travel agencies mainly face three major problems:
First, the competition in the same industry is fierce. From the establishment of Hainan Province and the determination that tourism is one of the pillar industries of Hainan's economy to now, there are no fewer than 160 domestic and foreign travel agencies, especially in the 1990s, Hainan Province registered more than 1000 domestic and foreign travel agencies. Facing a Hainan, there are so many competitors in the case of limited development of tourism resources. Therefore, Hainan travel agencies are facing fierce competition.
Second, the problem of brain drain. Now many enterprises are facing a common problem, that is, the loss of excellent employees. As a service enterprise, travel agencies are highly mobile. During the short two months of internship in the company, an excellent tour guide wanted to leave, but I don't know how the manager kept her. This is not a small problem. Brain drain will bring a series of problems, such as the leakage of corporate secrets, the loss of customers and the rising cost. So travel agencies should pay attention to this problem.
Third, the tourism market is chaotic. I believe everyone who has been to Hainan knows the general situation of Hainan tourism market. From the "12. 1" incident to the phenomenon of "black guiding" and "cheating", Hainan's tourism market is actually in a rather chaotic state. However, in recent years, after the government's various controls on the market, it is a little better now. No matter which industry, market chaos will increase a lot of extra costs for enterprises, which will seriously lead to the demise of enterprises.
Faced with the above problems, what should travel agencies do?
1. Optimize tourist routes and improve the quality of tourist services.
2. Do a good job in customer service, so that customers can come happily and leave satisfactorily.
3. Develop new tourism resources and create competitive advantages.
4. Do a good job in personnel management and reduce the cost of human resources.
5. Improve enterprise management system and human resource management system to retain talents.
6. Shaping the corporate culture of travel agencies and establishing corporate image.
7. Plan the tourism market, formulate marketing strategies, define product pricing, and do a good job in market promotion and marketing management.
Through two months' internship in Tongda Holiday Travel Agency, I have a further understanding of Hainan tourism market and a general understanding of Hainan travel agency. At the same time, in the process of integrating theory with practice, I used my professional knowledge flexibly, showed my ability, and found many shortcomings.
Here, I am very grateful to my company and colleagues for their inspiration and help, and also sincerely thank the school teachers for their selfless training and education.
