Shaoxing Luxun Primary School was founded in September 1954. It is the first public school founded by Shaoxing District Government after the founding of New China. After 48 years of hard work, the school has been rated as a provincial advanced school, a provincial civilized unit, a provincial demonstration primary school and a national modern educational technology experimental school. It is the national experimental base for the overall reform of primary and secondary schools, the experimental base of the National Young Pioneers Working Society, and the "2 1 Century School Quality Education Research" project school of China Education Academic Exchange Center of UNESCO. Now it has become the largest and highest-grade modern digital window school in Shaoxing, with two campuses under its jurisdiction.
