Not an unpopular major. By the end of March, 2024 15, there were still many colleges and universities offering Chinese international education, and training applied talents of China language and literature who were engaged in language and cultural exchanges and communication in various functional departments, foreign trade institutions, news publishing units, enterprises and institutions. Chinese international education is an undergraduate major in colleges and universities, which belongs to the major of language and literature in China. The basic study period is four years, and the bachelor of arts degree is awarded. The major of Chinese international education mainly cultivates the basic literacy and skills of Chinese international education as well as bilingual knowledge and practical application ability of Chinese and English (foreign languages). Students mainly study the basic theories and knowledge of Chinese, linguistics and international literature, receive theoretical thinking and professional skills training, and can use a foreign language fluently for teaching and communication.
