The composition of the two bases and the significance of learning are different. The "Three Tans" Memorial Hall is located on the banks of Cangjiang River and beside Wenchang Tower in Mingcheng Town, Gaoming District, Foshan City, Guangdong Province. It was built by Gaoming people in memory of Tan Pingshan, Tan and Tan Tiandu, outstanding figures in the revolutionary history of China and democratic revolutionaries in Ming Dynasty. Their advanced deeds are of great significance for carrying forward the patriotic melody, enhancing the concept of national defense education for the whole people and cultivating citizens' patriotic sentiments.

Gaoming District Red Integrity Education Base consists of Tan Pingshan's former residence, Gaoming District Red Integrity Culture Exhibition Area and Red Memory Theme Park.
