Brief introduction of Jiangsu Institute of Technology:

Jiangsu Institute of Technology is a provincial full-time ordinary university, located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a famous historical and cultural city and an important modern manufacturing base in the Yangtze River Delta.

Founded in 1984, the school was renamed Jiangsu Institute of Technology on 20 12 after Changzhou Vocational Teachers College, Changzhou Technical Teachers College and Jiangsu Technical Teachers College. The school is a master's degree awarding unit, an excellent undergraduate teaching evaluation unit of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of key construction bases for vocational education teacher training in China and the first batch of decision-making consulting research bases in Jiangsu Province.

The school has a building area of more than 500,000 square meters, the total value of teaching instruments and equipment exceeds 300 million yuan, and there are more than 6,543,800 books in Chinese and foreign languages.

At present, there are more than 20 teaching and research units, including Mechanical Engineering College, Electrical Information Engineering College, Resources and Environmental Engineering College, Education College and Vocational Education Department. It has two provincial key industrial colleges, namely, New Energy Vehicle Power Battery Industry College and Industrial Internet Industry College, and nine school-level modern industrial colleges, including Intelligent Medical Industry College, Artificial Intelligence Industry College and Inspection and Certification Industry College.

There are 62 undergraduate majors, which recruit graduate students in education, machinery, resources and environment, forming a school-running pattern with engineering as the mainstay and coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

There are more than 20,000 full-time undergraduates (including international students) and graduate students 1 000. There are more than 550 faculty members/kloc-0, and nearly 200 full-time teachers, including more than 7 teachers with senior titles, more than 540 teachers with doctoral degrees, and more than 50 well-known experts and scholars/kloc-0, such as academicians and national special support programs for high-level talents.
