Shandong Education Society is the newspaper of Shandong Education Department, which is responsible for publicizing the education work in Shandong Province, reflecting the new things and situations in the education front, reporting advanced models and experiences, and coordinating the education and publicity work of news organizations. Ten newspapers and periodicals are published, namely: Shandong Middle School Education, Shandong Primary School Education, Shandong Preschool Education, Modern Education Guide, Modern Middle School Education Guide, Modern College Entrance Examination Education Guide, Contemporary Middle and Senior Pupils, Contemporary Lower Pupils and Contemporary Preschool Pupils. Among them, Contemporary Pupils was selected into 200 1 China Periodical Square, and was rated as a "double-effect periodical"; In 2002, it was awarded "Excellent Journals in East China" and "Key Journals of National Excellent Journals 100" by the Propaganda Department of the CPC and the State Press and Publication Administration.
