About the process of IELTS test and how to plan your study!
I wrote down the process, registration steps and study abroad steps for you:)

But the actual steps of studying abroad are too many and complicated, and you don't want to give perfunctory answers and ask so many questions. The answer can only be written in 10000 words. I'll try to find a more detailed one for you and write it at the back for you to see:)

I'm going to study in Britain after graduating from college next year, and now I'm also preparing for the IELTS test.

The following are my experiences and opinions:)

Shanghai's New Oriental IELTS is good.

You are a sophomore, and you have plenty of time. I think long-term classes are good.

Generally speaking, you are still young, and your awareness of learning and some learning skills and methods have not been accumulated through high-density study in universities, so I think the long classes in New Oriental are still very suitable for you.

I don't just follow your words to get your opinion. Oh, from the heart!

Personally, I think the VIP in New Oriental is very good. . Small class. .

It's best to find a small oral class for foreign teachers. . .

It must be good for you to plan to study in England. Although VIP is expensive, the effect is real, and you can become good friends with those young and lively teachers!

And now there is a signing class in New Oriental, that is, he can guarantee you a few points in that class, which seems to be 6 points, 6.5 points and 7 points.

If the contract is signed, the teacher will try his best to teach!

Also, I've never heard of anyone who can't read IELTS in the world and then goes to New Oriental to study IELTS. . .

No one who doesn't understand New Oriental goes to study IELTS all over the world. . .

Teachers in New Oriental will be very, very helpful to you. Believe me, yes, I have been studying in New Oriental. I used to think learning English was boring, but I am very happy in New Oriental!

Finally, I wish you success!

PS: If you feel that your vocabulary is particularly weak and want to attack vocabulary by yourself, I recommend you as a teacher.

If you are studying in Beijing, you can choose the vocabulary class taught by Liu Yinan, and you can take classes for 4,000 people. According to him, you can learn vocabulary with 500.

Personally, I think it is a very scientific method, and it is not boring.

Don't use those opportunistic jokes and homophonic mnemonics. I remembered them at that time, but I forgot them in a few days.

If you don't have time to study, Liu Yinan's "Unique Dictionary 4000 Vocabulary Online Class" is everywhere on the Internet. When searching, you can search for "Jue Yi Ci Xiong".

I learned that one, and I feel benefited a lot, and once I learn his method, I can sum up the most fundamental meaning by memorizing more words in the future. It's really all in one.

I have basically heard all the classroom vocabulary on the Internet.

What Zhao Li vocabulary 5500?

Zhao Li vocabulary 8000

Liu Chang's vocabulary

Classical vocabulary

Ren Zhiyuan's vocabulary

I listened to it all.

I still like Liu Yinan's 4000 and 5500. Of course, 5500 is a graduate vocabulary, which may not be suitable for you. I only listen to 5500 because he likes him!

If you want vocabulary courses and supporting notes, you can leave me an email address and I will compress it and send it to you:)

I hope my suggestion is useful to you:)

The following is the process:

The whole examination time is 2 hours and 55 minutes (including listening 10 minutes).

The first two paragraphs of the four pronunciations are mainly about simulating general life, social state and interpersonal relationship, while the last two paragraphs are mainly about education, academics and world topics, with answers (narratives). However, due to its practicality and common sense, candidates do not have to delve into dead ends.

The reading part (which is different from academic papers) takes 60 minutes.

Both academic and general training exams are based on the "three paragraphs" of the article, about 1500-3000 words, with various contents, and sometimes even appear in the form of charts and tables. There are many ways for students to answer questions, about 38-42 questions.

The theme of the reading part is not to examine students' academic professionalism or consciousness, so students should never be nervous because they are unfamiliar with the theme.

The similarity between Class A and Class G is that in addition to life, Class A also increases the academic discussion and understanding of candidates, while Class G focuses on topics such as socialization, language and job training.

The writing part (the Unit 1 of general training and academic papers is different, but the Unit 2 is the same) takes 60 minutes.

Class A writing part, 1 hour, is divided into two major units (task1&; Task 2);

(Task 1) Usually, the basic forms of exam questions are pictures, table coordinates and graphics. According to the given information, candidates write articles with more than 150 words, describe the theme, organize discussions on the theme, and put forward relatively supportive arguments.

G (Task 1) Candidates can write a letter for the simulated situation or question given in the examination questions.

(Task 2) Class A is very similar to Class G. Candidates express their opinions in 250 words on the topic of the examination questions. Candidates are usually required to use one of several methods as a framework to solve problems, express their views, and support or demonstrate the information given in the examination questions.

The oral part (the general training is consistent with the academic papers) is 200 1 oral update examination time 15 minutes from July 1.

10- 15 minutes one-on-one conversation (candidates and examiners). The topic of dialogue is colloquial, lively and relaxed, but there are certain procedures. The dialogue is roughly divided into four small segments (no obvious distinction, no interruption in the middle);

The first paragraph: greet each other (about 1-2 minutes);

The examiner will encourage (guide) candidates to talk about some general topics (life and rest, cultural habits, personal interests, etc.). (about 3-4 minutes), candidates should speak bravely.

The third paragraph: The examiner draws out a reminder card with a simulated event, environment or situation written on it, and the candidates ask various questions to the examiner (about 3-4 minutes). The questions asked by candidates must be related to the theme on the card and can be freely played;

Paragraph 4: Examiners mainly understand the candidates' personal concerns (academic plans) or (future prospects). Class A and G candidates are different because of the different purposes of IELTS test. (About 3-4 minutes) (This answer is diverse and in-depth, and candidates can prepare in advance).

British schools start in September every year. Those who want to study in Britain next year should start preparing now. Because studying abroad must be prepared at least half a year in advance.

Preparation process

The first stage (about 2 months): choose the school to apply for, prepare funds and wait for the admission notice.

Tip: It takes some time to find the right school among hundreds of schools. At this time, you can apply for a foreign guardian at the same time, or the guardian can help you choose a school.

The second stage (1-2 months): prepare visa information and make an appointment for a visa.

Tip: If the household registration is not in South China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian and Hainan all apply for visas in Guangzhou), you should apply for visas in Beijing or Shanghai. If you work in South China and have a local temporary residence permit, you can also get a visa to Guangzhou.

The third stage: after getting the visa, physical examination, booking air tickets, changing foreign exchange, etc. And prepare for a trip abroad. The time required varies from person to person. If the visa is about to start school, you have to speed up your trip.

Tip: After getting a visa, you have to pay tuition and guardianship fees. At this time, you can contact the guardian and ask him to help arrange all guardianship matters (including airport pick-up, accommodation, etc.) ) After arriving in England. British schools are divided into three semesters a year, and applicants are advised to take a two-month summer language course to better adapt to the learning environment in Britain. If the applicant's language level is low, he can also apply for a 4? D add a semester of language courses in June.

British academic system

British schools arrange the school year according to the age of students. The age is based on the date of birth on August 3 1 day, and the new school year begins in September. Those who enter school halfway can enter school the next day as long as there are vacancies. The following are the academic years corresponding to the British academic system.

At least 1 1 years and 9 months ~1years and 7 months: ScondarySchool(5-year course) at least 16 years and September ~ 18 years and July: A-Levelschool (2-year course) at least/

Master: 1 year for 3 semesters, or 2 years for 4 semesters.

Doctor: 3 years and 6 semesters.

A-level: that is, six years in primary school and five years in middle school. You should choose professional courses. The A-level tuition for foreigners is about 3,500 pounds, and that for private schools is about 1000 pounds. After choosing a major, there are 3 ~ 4 corresponding basic courses. According to these achievements and the evaluation of the school, you can enter the university. So the A-level score is very important.

Four links are the most critical.

Visa: This is a crucial step. If you are not fully prepared, you will be easily refused a visa. Common reasons for refusal are as follows:

1. The applied school is inconsistent with the applicant's academic qualifications. Is that the study plan is unreasonable. The visa officer will think that your direction of studying abroad is not clear.

2. The visa officer suspects that the financial strength is insufficient. Some students' parents have enough money in their bankbooks, but they don't have a fixed formal unit or a registered company, so visa officers will suspect that the money is borrowed.

3. Language foundation. There are language requirements in the UK for applicants who graduated from high school and went to the UK for preparatory courses. Although there are no clear English requirements for international students studying in high schools, visa officers will also communicate with you in English during visa interviews. If the language is too poor, you can't communicate, and you lack a calm attitude, it will easily become the reason for being refused a visa.

Therefore, you must have a language foundation when preparing to study abroad, otherwise it will be easy to be refused a visa in China, and there will be great obstacles to studying abroad in the future.

Guardian: It is stipulated in the UK that international students under the age of 18 must have guardians. Applicants can apply for a guardian when applying for a school, and then formally establish contact with the guardian after obtaining a visa. The guardian can be the applicant's relatives and friends, or it can be appointed by the British school. The guardian's fee is about 1000 a year.

Language: It's crucial. It is suggested to go abroad to attend summer school, learn the language and adapt to the environment. Generally speaking, the first two months are sad, and then it will be smoother.

Certificate (required): original passport; Application form; Two two-inch photos; Copy of ID card; Original financial certificate (deposit certificate and deposit amount); The highest education certificate (original certificate or student ID card and school transcript); Visa fee; Admission certificate of a British school.

It is important to understand the academic system.

Although there is no explicit provision, countries such as Britain generally require international students to complete nine-year domestic compulsory education. The best time to apply for a British high school is to finish the first year of high school. In this way, you can directly connect with the British two-year senior high school curriculum (A-level), and then directly apply for a three-year undergraduate course, which can save one year.

Preparatory course is a transitional course specially prepared for international students in Britain. It's a preparatory class before entering university, and it's also available in other countries. The study period is generally one year. You must also have the examination results when you are studying in the preparatory course. What kind of university to go to depends on the results of the preparatory course. But preparatory courses do not belong to academic education. Applicants who graduated from high school or technical secondary school are suitable for preparatory courses.

If you go to study abroad after your freshman year, you can go directly to the undergraduate course of a British university without going to the preparatory course as long as you don't change your major and stay away. A few majors may start from preparatory courses, such as medicine and law.

The advanced level of general education certificate is divided into two years, the first year is called AS, and the second year is called A2, that is, the advanced examination of general education certificate. Elective courses include mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, old English, music, history, geography and so on. After the two-year course, I have to take the final exam, which is a bit like the college entrance examination in China. Only those with excellent grades can be admitted to first-class universities.
