Zhang Donglu, China chess master, nicknamed "Two Gunners", 1935, was born in Baoding, Hebei. 1958, participated in the national individual chess championship for the first time and won the fourth place.

Teacher Zhang Donglu, a first-class chess player in Harbin since 1950s, is one of the pioneers of China chess. 1960 and 1966 won the national championship twice.
