Guangfa Securities Development Research Center is the first-level department of the company, which is responsible for providing seller research services and taking into account internal service needs. It is the only department established by the company to study macroeconomics, securities investment strategy, industry and listed companies. The external service targets are major domestic institutional investors such as insurance institutions, fund companies and asset management companies, and the internal service departments are brokerage business department, asset management department, fixed income department, self-operated department, investment banking department and other business departments.

The department adopts flat management and directly sets up investment strategy group, financial engineering group and several industry research groups. Among them, there are 10 researchers in the financial engineering group, and the staffing ratio is in the forefront in the securities research industry. By mid-March, 20 13, the department had 82 full-time researchers, of whom more than 98% had doctoral or master's degrees.

After years of accumulation, the research strength of R&D Center has been gradually improved. Won the fourth place in the "Best Local Research Team" and the ninth place in the "Most Influential Research Institution" selected by the 10th Best Analyst of New Fortune. In the single award, 14 industries were shortlisted as the best analysts of New Fortune, including metal processing, non-bank finance, retail, non-ferrous metals, power equipment and new energy, transportation, steel, non-metallic building materials and coal. Two groups won the first place in the industry and four groups won the second place in the industry.
