Guangdong Vocational College of Posts and Telecommunications, formerly known as Guangdong Post and Telecommunications School, was upgraded to an ordinary higher vocational college with the approval of Guangdong Provincial People's Government in 2002. It is the only public full-time communication vocational college in Guangdong Province and a provincial-level high-level vocational college training unit.
