There are three kinds of people in this line now, one is from a technical school, the other is from a software school, and the third is aunts in their thirties. Technical schools come from those art colleges, but most of them choose landscape design and video game design when they choose their majors at school. Because they feel that this treatment is better, there are not many art colleges that come out to do graphic design. More is the second category, that is, people who study PS and CD. Generally speaking, these people do not have much artistic skills and have not systematically studied graphic design. Generally, these people are not highly educated. There are two ways to enter this industry. One is to attend those training courses, and the other is to be an apprentice in a printing factory. These people finally fall into four categories: one is to leave the industry, the other is to stay in the printing factory, the third is to transition to architectural design and salesman, and the fourth is to do very well and enter the big advertising companies and newspapers and magazines through their own strength.
Let's talk about the first kind of people first. Most of these people come from rural areas and work in cities. Why did they choose this line? First, I think it is more advanced and decent to work with computers, and second, it is better to do this than to be a cashier or porter in a supermarket. This kind of person has no plan for his career, but he is always in a fog. After a year and a half, they couldn't hold on and didn't want to study. Finally, they left the industry. The second kind of people are similar to the first kind, but more satisfied with the status quo. Although it's not good, it's enough to get more than 1000 yuan a month. The third kind of people are more flexible and know that they are poor. Because these people are suitable for this business regardless of their personality or ability. Generally speaking, they are people in this field.
Now I often see some new people asking about the prospect of this business on the Internet. Many answers are complaining that there is no future, or the prospects are good. If you say that any business can not be separated from graphic design, it is the first category, the second category and the third category, because they have no ability to do graphic design themselves. They think that graphic design is equal to PS and CD, and those things on the Internet "get up earlier than chickens." Things like "Doing more than cattle …" are also said by these people. These people are typing and copying companies all over the street, including one or two 4-drive printing presses, several inkjet printing companies and some small advertising companies. They complain not only about graphic design, but also about the whole society. These people are also very bad-tempered, and it is common to quarrel with customers and bosses.
I also heard many people say that the graphic design business is saturated. In fact, this statement is a bit biased. It should be said that the intermediate level is saturated. This is also the current economic situation in China. Most of the people who do things are bosses of small private enterprises. They are also doing business. Of course, people should be cheap. As long as they can see the designed things, the effect of advertising is hard to say. Like what you saw on TV last night. So most advertisements are useless.
