Training objectives:

This major trains senior engineering and technical personnel with basic knowledge and application ability of mechanical design and manufacturing, who can engage in mechanical design, manufacturing, management, scientific and technological development, applied research and sales in the field of mechanical engineering in the front line of industrial production. On the basis of mastering relevant technologies in the field of mechanical engineering, modern design, modern manufacturing and computer application are emphasized as the core, and oil and gas drilling and production machinery is featured. This major has eight directions: petroleum machinery design and theory, machinery manufacturing and automation, equipment engineering and management, mechatronics, mold CAD/CAM, welding technology and automation, heavy machinery design and computer-aided engineering.

Electrical and electronic technology, microcomputer principle and application, CNC machine tools, mechanical testing technology, computer foundation, mechanical engineering materials and molding technology, comprehensive experiments of modern manufacturing technology, comprehensive experiments of testing and information processing, etc.
