"Green Horse Project" is the abbreviation of Young Marxists Training Project. In 2007, with the support of relevant ministries and commissions, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League launched the "Young Horse Project", aiming at cultivating young political backbones with firm beliefs, outstanding abilities, excellent quality and excellent work style for the Party.

In principle, the intensive cultivation period of each phase of the "Youth Horse Plan" is 1 year. The size of each class in the country is about 200, and other levels of classes follow the principle of "fewer but better" to arrange the scale reasonably.

Cultivation mechanism:

Colleges and universities continue to consolidate the national, provincial and school training pattern, highlighting the political training and ideological guidance for the backbone of college students. Ethnic classes are organized and implemented by the Organization Department of the Communist Youth League Central Committee and the Ideological and Political Work Department of the Ministry of Education. Provincial classes are organized and implemented by the Provincial Youth League Committee in conjunction with the Provincial Department of Education. School-level classes are organized and implemented by the Youth League Committee of colleges and universities under the guidance of the departments of organization, publicity, learning (research) and so on.
