Tongji University Jiading Campus has begun to show its beauty. Five colleges of automobile, software, traffic engineering, mechanical and energy engineering, electronics and information engineering entered the campus in 2004 and 2005 respectively. Jiading Campus of Tongji University is a new national first-class university campus founded by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal Government at the beginning of 2 1 century. Jiading Campus, as the education, training and R&D base of Shanghai International Automobile City, was planned with Shanghai International Automobile City as a whole. Preparations began on 200 1, and it was initially completed and started teaching operation in September 2004.
