Sichuan Science and Technology Technician College is a public full-time technician college approved by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government and headed by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology.

The college was formerly known as Luzhou Chemical Technician College, and 1975 was founded in Luzhou. On 1990, it was renamed as Sichuan Chemical Technical School and moved to Wenjiang. 1992 was rated as a provincial key technical school, and 1995 established Sichuan -086 National Vocational Appraisal Institute.

1996 was rated as the national key technical school, and was upgraded to Sichuan Chemical Senior Technical School in 2008, and to Sichuan Institute of Technology and Technicians in 20 17.

The school is located in Wenjiang District, downtown Chengdu, where universities gather and Chengdu International Medical City is located.

The college covers an area of more than 90,000 square meters with a building area of more than 80,000 square meters. It has 4 19 1 set of experimental practice equipment, with more than 3,500 registered students and an annual vocational training scale of 2,000. It is a national training base for high-skilled talents, a training base for high-skilled talents in Sichuan Province and a training base for skilled talents in Chengdu.
