Hefei Preschool Education College is a full-time ordinary college approved by Anhui Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. 20 15 was approved to build a local skilled high-level university in Anhui province.

The school was founded in 1980 as Hefei Kindergarten Teachers College, and was upgraded to Hefei Kindergarten Teachers College on 201with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

In 2000, Hefei Preschool Normal School was commended by the Ministry of Education (State Education Commission) for four times, namely 1983, 1988 and 1999. 1996 has been fully affirmed by the leaders of the teachers' department of the state education commission in the joint inspection of national teacher education, and is known as "Fang Xiangming with good conditions, strict management and high efficiency".

In 1994 and 1999, the school was continuously rated as "excellent". It has won the titles of "Grade A Management School" and "Model School" in Hefei for many times.
