Counselor's work is the basis of doing a good job in Young Pioneers' work. Doing a good job as a counselor is of great significance for creating a good learning atmosphere and educational environment, maintaining normal teaching order and promoting the improvement of the comprehensive quality of young pioneers. In the work of young pioneers counselors, I made some explorations and attempts. My personal experience is that, in the face of the requirements of new curriculum and quality education and the complicated international situation, to do a good job of young pioneers counselors, we must first recognize the status and role of counselors, strengthen their role consciousness, reshape the image of moral education through the guidance of new ideas, and realize the necessary changes.

First of all, quality education needs high-quality counselors.

Paying attention to people's all-round development, cultivating young pioneers' complete personality and fully developing their personality are the important contents of quality education in the 2/kloc-0 century, and also the important goal and common trend of educational modernization in all countries in the world today. Counselors play an important role in this educational army. Counselors are full-time teachers who are fully responsible for the education of Young Pioneers; Is the main implementer of the school work plan; It is a bridge between schools, families and social education forces. Through study and practice, I think counselors must have the following three qualities.

To really cultivate qualified new talents, teachers, especially counselors, must have profound cultural knowledge and scientific management skills. Su Chomski put it well: "Only when teachers' knowledge vision is unparalleled than the syllabus can teachers become real experts and artists in the education process." If the school is compared to a family, then the counselor is the pillar of this big family, and the subtle influence of a counselor's cultivation on the young pioneers cannot be underestimated. Therefore, teachers must constantly adjust their knowledge structure, make full use of their own time to study and improve their professional ability. Only in this way can we not be thrown into the dust by the wheel of historical progress and adapt to the development of education today.

The ideological quality of the counselor has a great influence on his Young Pioneers. As a counselor, if you are not upright, steady, have low ideological awareness and lack a correct outlook on life and the world, you will certainly not be able to teach high-quality young pioneers. The education in the new century requires counselors to have high political and ideological qualities and moral sentiments, and receive good educational effects from young pioneers through their usual words and deeds, so as to truly set an example for young pioneers.

The ancients said, "Teacher, preach and teach to solve doubts." A real counselor must first demand himself with high standards of professional ethics. Imagine that a counselor, even if he is knowledgeable, does not care about young pioneers in his teaching work, but rebukes irony and discrimination. The result is self-evident. Therefore, as a counselor in the new century, we should be a model, love education, be honest in teaching and be rigorous in studying. Secondly, we should be close friends of the Young Pioneers, keep abreast of and master the movements of the Young Pioneers, and be aware of them. Especially for the poor students under the traditional concept, we should fully understand their learning situation, hobbies of various subjects, create a relaxed learning environment, develop their specialties and enhance their self-confidence.

Society and times put forward brand-new requirements for teachers. Counselors should change their educational concepts, keep pace with the times, establish a correct sense of role and constantly improve themselves.
