The examination of sewage treatment workers shall be registered by the unit in a unified way, and the theoretical and practical examinations shall be taken on time by means of centralized teaching and self-study. After the students pass the examination and appraisal, the vocational qualification certificate of sewage treatment worker will be issued by the skill appraisal center of Nantong Personnel, Labor and Social Security Bureau.

Sewage treatment workers (level 5) and sewage treatment workers (level 4) adopt a non-integrated assessment method, which is divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge examination and operational skills examination. The theoretical knowledge examination adopts the method of closed-book computer examination, and the skill operation examination adopts the method of on-site actual operation and practical questions. Both the theoretical knowledge test and the skill operation test adopt the percentile system, and the score of 60 is qualified.

Work tasks:

1. Operate the gas collecting hood and other equipment to collect waste gas.

2. Run waste gas pretreatment, gas purification, reactors and other purification equipment to remove harmful pollutants and particles in waste gas.

3. Operate auxiliary equipment, such as gas transportation, reagent preparation and supply, fuel supply, compressed air supply and heat exchanger, to ensure the operation of purification equipment.

4. Operate desorption, separation, filtration and other equipment to recover concentrated pollutants.
