(4) Put the works on the design website and participate in the design competition.

Participate in various design competitions, you can get to know your peers, increase your knowledge and learn excellent works through competitions. If you have a chance to win the prize, you will be one step closer to the company you like. Generally, many design websites will hold design competitions, and some excellent enterprises will also hold design competitions, so schools and society should actively participate in design competitions.

(5) Do projects

If you already have the ability of UI designer, you can also try to find an internship in design, or use your spare time to contact small projects to exercise yourself.

I think it's okay for you to study UI in your sophomore year and then do your homework in the second half of the semester.
