The school covers an area of 4692 1 m2, with staff 125, 40 classes and 2 186 students. The "5. 12" earthquake caused great losses to the school. After completing the maintenance and reinforcement of the teaching building, the school will step up the implementation of the campus reconstruction plan.

The newly-built comprehensive building is 4900 square meters, which integrates music classroom, art classroom, physical and chemical laboratory, reading room, science and technology activity room, infirmary, psychological consultation room, multi-function hall and team activity room. The newly-built second student apartment is about 5000 square meters, which can accommodate more than 700 students at school. In the second half of 20 13, air conditioners and water heaters were installed in the student dormitory. After the completion of these two projects, the conditions for running schools will be greatly improved, the overall layout will be more reasonable and the campus will be more beautiful.
