The certification body of BQB certification is the Bluetooth Special Interest Group, which is a non-profit, non-stock multinational organization. Its purpose is to formulate bluetooth profile and promote Bluetooth technology.
Only the products authorized by SIG certification are real Bluetooth products, so as to ensure that their product compatibility and related performance meet the standards, and to legally use Bluetooth trademarks and related Bluetooth technical specifications.
How to carry out BQB certification?
This process mainly includes the following seven steps:

3. Judge the authentication method (two methods: qualification authentication+declaration/declaration only)
4. Bluetooth product qualification certification (from 20 19 1), the product applying for Bluetooth product qualification certification must be version 4.2 or version 5.0. From July 2020 1, no new product model can be added to the column names of 4. 1 and previous versions. )
5. Submit test evidence report and product statement.

7. Complete the certification
Materials needed to register as a SIG member 1 and prepare for registration.
2. Registered as a member of SIG official website.
3. Verify the email address and complete the membership application process.
4. Wait for the application to be approved and get a member account.
Note: SIG members include founding members, alliance members and application members. These members have different application conditions and enjoy different rights.
Buying did: Did:DID (declaration ID) means that the declaration ID is a unique number, which is assigned to each member company and can only be used once, reflecting the qualifications of members and the completion of the declaration process.

When the product has not been certified in any form, the company needs to provide samples to the laboratory for Bluetooth technology testing, mainly including the following aspects:
1) radio frequency (RF) conformance test;
2) protocol conformance testing;
3) Profile compatibility test;
4) Declaration of conformity;
5) Review of relevant technical documents.
After the test, the laboratory will submit the test report to BQE (Bluetooth Certified Expert) for review. Upon approval, BQE will be listed in SIG official website. The cost of testing depends on the specific version of Bluetooth and the number of supported modes.
2. Product statement: product list.
If the enterprise has passed the Bluetooth certification, or the Bluetooth module used has passed the BQB certification, the test part can be omitted. Enterprises can buy DID directly from SIG and then put the product on the market.
