Kunming Metallurgy College is located in Kunming, Yunnan Province. It is a full-time public general college approved by the Ministry of Education. Kunming Metallurgy College, formerly known as Gejiu Mining Technical School, was founded in 1952. 1954 moved to Kunming, and 1958 was renamed Kunming Nonferrous Metals Industry School. In 2004, Kunming Metallurgy College, Yunnan Building Materials Industry School and Yunnan Circular Economy School merged to form a new Kunming Metallurgy College.
