For better communication, Spanish 100% is the best choice. Many people say that Spanish is following the trend now, but only those who really study hard, except those who graduated from some famous schools, are serious about self-study. In fact, there are not many. As long as you learn well, you will have a bright future.
Portuguese, now online, is in short supply and the employment situation is very good. But when you think about it, Portuguese-speaking countries are nothing more than Portugal, Brazil and Angola. The employment scope is relatively narrow, and the economies of these countries are relatively weak compared with some other European countries. My friend said that many Portuguese people work in France, and his concierge is Portuguese. But then again, very few people in China speak Portuguese. If you can really learn well, or if you are lucky, it will be good to find a good job.
Next, let's talk about learning Portuguese: Portuguese and Spanish, Italian and French are Latin, which is relatively more difficult than Spanish. If you study full-time and practice listening and speaking every day, there will be no problem in general foreign trade and communication after two years; But two years is definitely not proficient in translation. To achieve a very skilled level, you need a good foundation, plus some exercise. What you are studying now is a process of slowly accumulating and laying a foundation. It must be a lack of exercise. So if you win, it may take three years.
There is also Italian, but in a narrower sense: Italy, the Vatican and a small part of Switzerland. Unless you are interested in Italian culture, or graduated from college, you are generally self-taught, which may not be so easy to find a job.
Finally, we talked about Arabic. In fact, Arabic is really good at present. It's just too difficult to learn. The oil in the Middle East, Crown Prince ... and there are very few people studying in China, so the employment situation should be good. I mean, when my French and Spanish reach a certain level, I should learn Arabic, hehe.
But these are just some suggestions from my French friends and me. The most important thing is to see yourself.
