Starbucks thinks the name can remind people of the romance of the ocean and the sailing tradition of early coffee merchants.
Starbucks' first store
Starbucks originated from 197 1 and was founded by three Americans in partnership. In the early days, Starbucks mainly dealt in coffee beans. The founders of Starbucks come from academic circles, namely, English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Jeff Siegel and writer Gordon Burke. They opened the world's first Starbucks in Seattle, so the origin of the brand name is also closely related to literature.
For Starbucks' green logo, it was actually brown at first. This logo was inspired by the double-tailed mermaid in Greek mythology, and has gone through several versions. Every time the logo changes, it will cause different opinions from all parties.
