Introduction of Hengyang Swimming and Diving Center
Hengyang Swimming and Diving Center is located in tianmashan Sub-district Office, zhengxiang district, Hengyang City, Hunan Province. Established in 1983. It is a public swimming pool, national Olympic sports talent base, national high-level sports reserve talent base and national Olympic high-level reserve talent base built by Hengyang Municipal People's Government. He has successively trained world champions such as Tan, Liu, Huang Jing, He Min, Liao Yali, Ni Wenxiang and the main athletes of the national team. Hengyang Swimming and Diving Center is one of the most advanced swimming competition and training venues in China. The National Junior Diving and Water Polo Competition, the National Water Polo League and the National Swimming Summer Division Competition have been held successively. 1988 was rated as the national advanced swimming pool. The venue covers an area of 40,000 square meters and has 2,680 stands. The structure has two underground floors and three local floors. There are 1 international standard swimming pool, 1 international standard diving pool and 1 national standard training pool in the main stadium. In 2004, it was successfully declared as "Hunan Diving Talent Base", upgraded to "National Olympic Sports Talent Base" and "National High-level Sports Reserve Talent Base" in 2005, won the Hunan Swimming Training Outstanding Contribution Award in 2006, was listed as "National Olympic High-level Reserve Talent Base" in 2008, and was successfully declared as "National Swimming Town" in Hengyang in 2009, which is a national and provincial sports. 1 Hengyang Swimming and Diving Center covers an area of 32 mu, with three outdoor swimming pools, a diving pool and an indoor swimming pool. Total construction area 12000 square meters, swimming pool area of 3335 square meters. In order to ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of the pool water, the center transformed the swimming pool into an overflow swimming pool according to national standards.
