I. Differences in membership:
Soldiers stationed in Xinjiang are special cadres recruited from outstanding veterans every year by Xinjiang Autonomous Region in combination with the actual social development in southern Xinjiang, mainly serving remote towns and villages at the grassroots level in southern Xinjiang. This is a unique policy for Tibet and Xinjiang.
The cadres who stay in Xinjiang are all ordinary grassroots cadres in Xinjiang. It can be understood that soldiers who stay in Xinjiang can be cadres who stay in Xinjiang, but cadres who stay in Xinjiang are not necessarily soldiers who stay in Xinjiang.
Second, the difference in the difficulty of getting started:
The entry application of soldiers stationed in Xinjiang needs to take the examination for soldiers stationed in Xinjiang specially prepared for veterans. Compared with the national examination and Xinjiang examination, the difficulty is lower, and finally the admission is treated as a civil servant.
Most ordinary cadres who stay in Xinjiang can only be assigned to various positions through the civil service examination, which is more difficult than the military examinations left in Xinjiang and is not easy to be admitted.
Third, the difference between the working environment:
Soldiers stationed in Xinjiang were specially established in response to the central government's promotion of the development of southern Xinjiang, so almost all of them are distributed in major grassroots towns and villages in southern Xinjiang, and their working environment is relatively difficult.
The cadres who stay in Xinjiang are mainly assigned to northern and southern Xinjiang, Kashgar, Hotan and other places, generally only to the township level, and individual cadres can go to the county government, so the environment is better.
Fourth, the difference of promotion space:
Soldiers staying in Xinjiang have a very important strategic position because they are located in southern Xinjiang where the economy is booming. Therefore, many soldiers who have transferred from the army to Xinjiang have gradually stepped onto more important leadership positions, and there is a lot of room for promotion.
Although there are more opportunities for cadres staying in Xinjiang than for mainland civil servants, there is not as much room for promotion as for soldiers staying in Xinjiang due to the differences between the North and the South.
