School scale The school is located in the southern suburb of Shenmu County, covering an area of 103 mu. It has teaching building, laboratory building, office building, student apartment, library building, auditorium, multifunctional lecture hall, comprehensive service building, open-air playground and garden, with a total construction area of more than 42,000 square meters. It has 40 professional experimental training rooms, including electronic control training room, computer network classroom, electrical and electronic laboratory and nursing training room, as well as school-run industries such as construction companies, motor vehicle driving training schools and medical clinics. The library has more than 654.38 million books. There are nearly 9,200 full-time students in the school, 120 classes. There are 457 faculty members, 387 full-time teachers and 0/00 senior technical titles. At present, there are 24 majors in eight categories, such as computer, mechatronics, civil engineering, automobile operation and maintenance, chemical engineering, medicine and art. In 2006, the school carried out a two-level management system reform and divided all majors into seven departments-engineering department, medical department, art department, foundation department, public department, machinery department and electric construction department, which straightened out the working relationship and improved the management efficiency. In 2008, Shenmu New Village established a new campus and actively explored the management mode of "one school and two districts".

In order to meet the expanding demand for vocational education and cultivate high-level professional and technical personnel, the county party committee and government began to build Shenmu Vocational and Technical College with a total investment of 600 million yuan and a scale of 1 10,000 people in Xincun in 2007. In 2009, secondary vocational schools enrolled more than 3,200 students, and a relatively complete vocational education system is taking shape, which will surely make greater contributions to the local economic development of Shenmu.

The school also set up a campus network platform and a campus TV station, which basically realized the informationization of education and office automation.

The school has always regarded the employment of graduates as the "top priority". Since 2007, more than 3,000 talents with secondary vocational skills have been trained for factories and mines, with an average annual employment rate of 96%. At the same time, more than 2,000 students were sent to higher vocational colleges, more than 2 100 farmers were trained, and enterprises and institutions trained 1200 employees.
