Jiangsu Vocational College of Urban and Rural Construction is an independent public full-time college. The College is located in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a national demonstration city of integration of production and education, and is a high-level vocational school with characteristics in Jiangsu Province, China. The school is managed by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education and Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Construction, and is in charge of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Housing and Construction.

The school was formerly known as Jiangsu Urban Construction School founded by 1986 and Changzhou University of Construction Workers founded by 1979. In 2003, it was renamed as "Changzhou Construction Higher Vocational and Technical School in Jiangsu Province", and the school card of "Changzhou Construction Branch of Jiangsu United Vocational and Technical College" was added.

On June 5, 20 13, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, Jiangsu Vocational College of Urban and Rural Construction was established on the basis of merger with Changzhou Staff University. On February 6, 20 15, Jiangsu Provincial People's Government officially approved the establishment of Jiangsu Urban and Rural Construction Vocational College, which became a provincial college (higher vocational) level ordinary university.

The college has 27 institutions, 1 subordinate units.
