Work difference
A first-class fire engineer can hire an engineer, and a second-class fire engineer can hire an assistant engineer. Therefore, the first-class fire engineer has a higher status.
Educational requirements
A first-class fire engineer requires candidates to have a college degree or above, and a second-class fire engineer requires a secondary school degree. As long as your academic qualifications and graduation years meet the national standards, you are free to choose the level of application.
subject of examination
First-class fire engineers need to deal with three subjects: fire safety technical practice, fire safety technical comprehensive ability and fire safety case analysis, while second-class fire engineers only need to deal with two subjects: fire safety technical comprehensive ability and fire safety case analysis. The first class is valid for three years, and the second class is valid for two years.
Scope of practice
First-class registered fire engineers participate in fire technical consultation, fire safety assessment, fire safety management and technical training. The second level is mainly aimed at the fire safety assessment of high-risk units, fire safety management except high-rise buildings and dangerous chemicals units, and the detection and maintenance of fire-fighting facilities in specific scale buildings.
