How to connect the switch and router in the weak box?
The switch of the weak box has been installed and the router has been set up! Now, all network cables are connected to the switch except the network cable connected to the router. So, how do you connect a switch and a router? This article will provide you with two methods.

Method A: Connect the router directly.

If the fiber is long enough, it can be laid directly to the router. Then, find a network cable to connect the WAN port of the router, and connect the network cable originally connected to the router to the LAN port of the router.

Method B: Make crystal joints.

Firstly, the eight cable cores originally connected to the router are divided into two groups, four in each group, and each group of cables is a crystal head. When making, it should be noted that the line sequence at both ends of the crystal head should be consistent, and only the positions of 1, 2, 3 and 6 of the crystal head should be connected. Next, a crystal head connects the optical cat to the WAN port of the router, and another crystal head connects the switch to the LAN port of the router.
