Taiji Zhangmen Meng Xianmin

The teacher is 74 years old, and her grandfather is Niu Chunming, the first disciple of Yang Tai Ji Chuan. From 1946, eight-year-old Meng Xianmin followed his grandfather Niu Chunming to learn to play Tai Ji Chuan by the West Lake. He has been playing for 65 years now and is the fifth generation descendant of Yang Taiji.

On the day of interviewing him, the reporter got up early and rushed to Liuyuan, where he saw Mr. Meng teaching students hand in hand. Seeing this kind and kind old man fluttering in the cool morning breeze in summer, you really feel that he has integrated into the picturesque scenery.

Teacher Meng Xianmin is a Tai Chi master:1In March, 959, the first Wushu trials were held in Hangzhou, and Meng Xianmin won both Tai Ji Chuan and Tai Chi Sword. In May of the following year, he won the men's Tai Ji Chuan championship in Zhejiang Province again at the Wushu competition conference. During his study in Zhejiang University, 65438-0963 led his classmates to join the ranks of boxing fitness, which became a hot event on campus at that time. 198 1 year, at the age of 43, he participated in the Tai Ji Chuan Sword Competition of Zhejiang Wushu and won the individual champion of Tai Ji Chuan sword again, and won the prize again the following year.

1996, with the approval of relevant departments of Hangzhou, Tai Ji Chuan Pavilion in Chunming was established, with Meng Xianmin as the curator. 1998 10 was awarded the title of "Tai Chi Master" by China International Tai Ji Chuan Organization. In 2003, he created 27-style routines of Niu Chunming and Taiji Biography.

In the past 60 years, he has taught tens of thousands of students at home and abroad. Among them, more than 500 people won the top three in international, national and provincial Tai Ji Chuan (sword) competitions and won more than 200 champion medals. 74-year-old Meng Xianmin, currently ranked seventh in the national martial arts, is a consultant of Hangzhou Wushu Association and a foreign-related martial arts coach in Zhejiang Province. He is often invited to teach boxing fitness in colleges and universities.

West Lake is Meng Xianmin's favorite place to practice boxing. Every morning, in Six Rooms Park, or Six Rooms and Parks, you will see Mr. Meng and a large group of students practicing playing Tai Ji Chuan. Tai Ji Chuan has become a cultural landscape by the West Lake.
