1) training cycle
The training time for new employees depends on the scale, complexity and perfection of the company's business system, generally not less than 3 days, and the training time for new employees of individual large companies (especially newly graduated college students) is 3 months.
Whether a company attaches importance to the training of new employees can be seen from the training time of new employees. In many multinational companies and large domestic enterprises, the training of new employees is often arranged in 1-3 months. Through long-term training and guidance, we can shape the loyalty of new employees to the enterprise and let them understand and master the business process.
2) Training time
The first day of work is the best time to start pre-job training. Employees are not involved in the details of their work, and they are unlikely to get inaccurate information from other sources. However, from the perspective of organizing training courses, it is best to coordinate recruitment and training, and the date of new employees' registration should be relatively concentrated, so as to ensure that there are enough people in a training course.
3) Participants
All new employees should attend new employee training. Training courses for new employees should be divided according to positions and ability categories, and training courses for new employees should be divided according to different positions and ability levels. For example, let new employees with no work experience leave. The former are often some newly graduated students who need help from the student state to the professional state. They have no comparable experience and are more likely to accept the company culture. Those employees with work experience may not adapt to the new working environment and have formed certain working habits and attitudes.
Because discussion is very important to the training effect, the number of participants in the training should be controlled within 30. The ideal number is 15-20. This will help the communication between new employees, and it is also convenient for them to ask questions and get answers. If the number of participants is less than six, it will make them feel too conspicuous and uncomfortable.
4) New employee training content
In many companies, the term "induction training" means letting new employees attend a short meeting which usually lasts no more than two hours. At the meeting, introduce them to the company's history, regulations and welfare benefits. The speaker may be just a department assistant. Or organized two days of training, but the main content is the company's rules and regulations. Participants usually have no chance to communicate with each other and no time to ask questions.
