Ningbo Branch of Zhejiang New Century Talents College was established in 1999. According to the school-running mode of Zhejiang University of Talents, one new student is recruited every year to carry out corresponding teaching activities. Adhering to the motto of "noble, lofty, truth-seeking and realistic", 10 years ago, Ningbo Branch of New Century Talents College, under the leadership of the Youth League Committee and the Provincial Federation of Students, combined with its own characteristics, has been constantly pioneering and innovating, and * * * has trained nearly 500 young students. Some of these backbone students have taken the leadership positions of the party and government, some have become outstanding in their industries through entrepreneurship, and some have become enterprises and institutions. More importantly, through their own efforts, they have influenced, inspired and driven groups of young people to join the cause of socialist construction. In recent years, Ningbo Branch of New Century Talents College has played the role of the main training carrier of "Young Marxists" in accordance with the overall work promotion requirements of the Communist Youth League Committee, the Provincial Federation of Students, the Communist Youth League Committee and the Municipal Federation of Students, and has been brave in exploration and innovation in practical work, gradually forming a training model with Ningbo characteristics: First, it has constructed a vertical and horizontal training pattern, gradually expanded the training scope and upgraded the training level. On the basis of continuing to expand the scale of training student cadres, we will gradually bring the emerging elite students such as the backbone of the community and BBS moderators, as well as five types of professionals such as "culture, art, sports, scientific research and entrepreneurship" who have great influence on campus into the training system to radiate the training groups and expand the scope of influence; Combined with the expanding trend of postgraduate training scale in our city, we will gradually expand the proportion of postgraduate training vertically, give play to the guiding role of postgraduate students, and form a two-level training structure of "backbone of college students-backbone of postgraduate students".
