2. Jilin Beihua School is the largest provincial key comprehensive school in Jilin Province, which was formed by the merger of Jilin Normal University, Jilin Medical College, Jilin Forestry College and Jilin Electrification College.

3. Jilin Beihua School launched a Sino-foreign cooperative education program for undergraduate majors with two universities in Britain and Finland, and jointly established the Confucius Institute with Gangwon University in Korea.

Jilin Beihua School is the second batch of national demonstration bases for studying in China, an international student institution receiving a scholarship from the China government, an international student institution receiving a scholarship from the Confucius Institute, and an international student education qualification school specializing in clinical medicine (English teaching). It has been rated as the national advanced collective for international student education in China.
