Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, formerly known as Shijiazhuang No.43 Middle School, was founded in 1994. 1997 added the board of directors of Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, and 1999 was approved by the provincial government as "Key Middle School in Hebei Province". In 2000, kindergartens and primary schools were added, forming a one-stop running pattern of kindergarten-primary school-junior high school-senior high school. In 2002, the brand of "Shijiazhuang International School" was added to recruit foreign students. In 2004, the school was approved by the Ministry of Education as "National Ordinary Colleges and Universities Admission and Walking Qualified School". The school is the "National Foreign Language Experimental School" determined by the Foreign Language Education Research Center of the National Basic Education Experimental Center, one of the fifteen governing schools of the National Foreign Language School Work Research Association, and the vice chairman of the National Foreign Language Characteristic School Work Research Association.

At present, the school covers an area of nearly 160 mu, with a building area of 105244 square meters and a green area of 3 1000 square meters. There are more than 700 faculty members, more than 9,000 students and more than 3,000 boarders. At present, the school has modern teaching auxiliary facilities such as teaching building, laboratory building, foreign experts building, library, computer network hall, international conference hall, art museum, concert hall, gymnasium, table tennis hall, swimming pool, planetarium, bowling alley, student apartment and student canteen, which creates a good learning and living environment for students. All teachers in the school are equipped with laptops, and all classes in the classroom are networked, making full use of large-screen projection to assist classroom teaching, so as to realize that teachers' lesson preparation, classroom teaching and administrative management are all carried out on campus network.

The school offers all courses uniformly prescribed by the Ministry of Education, paying equal attention to arts and sciences and highlighting foreign languages. Foreign language courses are now offered in English, Japanese and Russian, and the school employs 10 foreign teachers to teach oral foreign languages all the year round. The school-based curriculum of physical education, fine arts and comprehensive practice has set up 26 characteristic courses. Physical education courses are divided into football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis, gymnastics, aerobics, swimming, track and field, bowling, rock climbing and so on. Art courses are divided into vocal music, dance, erhu, violin, keyboard, sketch, Chinese painting, pottery, watercolor, handicrafts and so on. The comprehensive practice course is divided into four topics: model technology, handicraft design and production, robot science and scientific planting technology.

The school widely carries out international exchange activities, which is the window of Hebei's foreign exchange. The school has established friendly inter-school relations with more than 10 schools in the United States, Britain, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Russia, Sweden, South Korea and other countries, and organizes mutual visits between teachers and students every year. The school has received friendly delegations from more than 20 countries, sent nearly 100 teachers abroad for training, and organized more than 500 students to study abroad.
