Why does the dry steam humidifier in the heat exchanger of process air conditioner drip?
There is no dewing problem in summer. However, this design often ignores another possibility, that is, in the process of steam humidification, if steam touches the coil of non-working heat exchanger, a large amount of condensed water will often be generated when it is cold, and these condensed water will flow to the bottom of the air conditioner along the coil. At this time, if there is no water tray at the bottom of the heat exchanger, the bottom of the air conditioner will be corroded and damaged by water, the air conditioner will leak water and the air-conditioned room will be short of water. Scheme 1: Install a water tray at the bottom of the heat exchanger! Advantages: The problem can be solved once and for all Disadvantages: 1) The cost is high; 2) The steam loss is high; Scheme 2: The steam humidifier is arranged downstream of the heat exchanger, and a reversing device is added when the steam is injected reversely! Advantages: low cost and no steam loss. Disadvantages: it must be marked in the design, otherwise some air-conditioning manufacturers will produce according to the general dry steam humidifier, and it will be too late to wait for problems on the spot!
