Liaoning rail transit vocational college, referred to as Liaoning rail transit vocational college, was founded in 1950. It is located in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province, a heavy industry base in China. It is a higher vocational college with the characteristics of serving the rail transit industry, focusing on serving the equipment manufacturing industry, and paying equal attention to full-time academic education, vocational training and applied technical services.

20 12 approved by Liaoning provincial government, the college was formally established by upgrading from the former Shenyang Railway Machinery School.

The college covers an area of 5 12 mu, with a total construction area of192,000 square meters. There are two campuses, Huanggu and Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, which are located at Nujiang Street 170 and 152 in Huanggu District, Shenyang, respectively. The development zone campus is located at Rail Transit Industrial Park 13 Road 17A 5 in Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone.

It has delivered more than 50,000 senior and intermediate technical and management talents for railway construction and local economic development, and the graduates are well received by employers. The employment rate of graduates has always remained above 90%, and the professional counterpart rate has remained above 60%. A large number of graduates have become the backbone of the industry and local economic and social development.
