Everything about production management and material control
Production planning is the core of production management, and material control is the guarantee for the smooth completion of production planning. The following PMC problems often occur in some factory organizations: (1) Production management and manufacturing management are often confused, and functions are not clearly distinguished and defined; (2) Ignoring the importance of production planning, the production planning system is chaotic; (3) Material control: there are a large number of warehouses that should not come, and the production plan has changed, but the material plan has not been modified, resulting in a backlog of material inventory; (4) The production plan changes frequently, the production manager puts out the fire every day, there are many complaints on the production line, the delivery time is often delayed, and customers complain constantly; (5) The materials are sluggish and the backlog of funds is neglected. The root cause lies in PMC function. (6) In the face of multi-variety and small batch production mode, orders can only be received at the expense of inventory. (7) (7) The organizational structure of PMC is not perfect, the production plan and material control flow are not clear, and the responsibilities are not clear. Training purpose: In the actual consultation and training work of the factory, we found that many problems have appeared due to improper planning of production plan and material control process and responsibilities, which have been puzzling all management levels of the enterprise. Some managers want to start changing this situation, but they don't know where to start. In practice, many factory managers lack a systematic concept of PMC and are not clear about the process and laws of PMC. Many managers always try to find answers to difficult problems from past planning methods, but they are all in vain. Before the setting and development of PMC course, our training group analyzed and investigated the PMC process of a large number of successful enterprises, collected many cases of PMC, and separated different production planning modes and material control modes from different production modes as the first-hand materials for the compilation of teaching materials. The remarkable features of this course are the actual cases of PMC operation and a large number of factory material control situations. The ultimate goal of setting up this course is to help managers establish their own PMC organization and process scientifically and effectively. Teaching methods: explanation+case simulation+interactive discussion+question answering.
