Jinling Qin School began in the middle of Ming Dynasty, matured in the early Qing Dynasty, and has been passed down since the 20th century. It first appeared in Wang Tan's Qin Zhi in the Qianlong period of Qing Dynasty, and gained a high reputation in Ming and Qing Dynasties. Many historical documents have mentioned Jinling Qin School, which is highly appraised.
Unfortunately, the existing literature does not mention the representative figures and music scores of this school, which makes the academic understanding of Jinling School and even the identification of this school not very clear.
