(1) must be a citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC). The so-called "citizen" usually refers to an individual with the nationality of a certain country. In China, anyone who has obtained China nationality according to the provisions of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China is a citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC). According to the Regulations on Tour Guide Management, you must be a citizen of People's Republic of China (PRC) to take the tour guide qualification examination.
(2) Must have a senior high school or secondary specialized school education. What kind of education and degree you have is an objective standard to measure an employee's knowledge structure and knowledge and cultural level, and it is also a requirement for employees to engage in a certain occupation. Tour guides, because of their professional characteristics, require people engaged in tour guides to have good cultural literacy. It is generally believed that a tour guide should be a "saint", that is, he should have extensive cultural knowledge and a broad understanding of the history and culture of the motherland, famous mountains and rivers, local customs and ethnic customs. To understand the above knowledge, it is difficult to meet these requirements without certain cultural literacy. Therefore, the "Regulations on the Management of Tour Guides" stipulates that only those with senior middle school or secondary specialized school education or above can take the qualification examination for tour guides.
(3) Must be in good health. Tour guide work is not only a mental work, but also a busy and hard physical work; In addition, due to the different climatic conditions and living customs, it brings a lot of trouble and inconvenience to the life and work of tour guides. Without a healthy body, it is difficult to adapt to the work of a tour guide. Therefore, the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides stipulates that only healthy people can take the tour guide qualification examination.
(4) Must have the basic knowledge and language ability to meet the needs of tour guides. The so-called basic knowledge to meet the needs of tour guides mainly refers to the educational level and academic qualifications stipulated in the Regulations; At the same time, according to the unified arrangement of the National Tourism Administration, we should participate in the pre-test training of tour guide qualification examination organized by tourism bureaus at all levels. Pre-exam training for tour guide qualification examination is to train candidates to have the basic knowledge needed for tour guides. The so-called language expression ability is an indispensable basic condition for tour guides, because tour guides mainly provide services to tourists through language. Tour guide language is an artistic expression of scenic spots and historic sites in the motherland. It requires tour guides to explain in standard language or artistic language, so that the language is fluent, vivid, humorous and in line with etiquette; Or use beautiful tour guide words to express it, so as to attract tourists' attention, form a relaxed, happy, lively and interesting atmosphere, give people beautiful enjoyment, eliminate tourism fatigue and increase tourism interest.
The above are the four conditions that must be met to participate in the tour guide qualification examination as stipulated in the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides.
According to the second paragraph of Article 3 of the Regulations on the Administration of Tour Guides: "Those who pass the examination shall be entrusted by the tourism administrative department of the State Council or the tourism administrative department of the State Council to issue the qualification certificate of tour guides." The so-called the State Council tourism administrative department refers to the National Tourism Administration; The tourism administrative departments of the people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government refer to the tourism bureaus of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government. According to the "Regulations", those who are willing to engage in the tour guide profession, after taking the qualification examination and passing the examination, can be awarded the tour guide qualification certificate by the tourism administrative department stipulated in the "Regulations". What needs to be clear here is that the tourist guide qualification certificate is uniformly printed by the National Tourism Administration, and the issuing authority of the tourist guide qualification certificate can only be the National Tourism Administration or the tourism bureaus of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government entrusted by the National Tourism Administration. In addition to these two levels of tourism bureaus, the tourism administrative departments of other local people's governments at all levels cannot print or issue qualification certificates for tour guides.
