I accept my happiness.

-Reflections on Listening to the Special Lecture on Psychological Knowledge "How to Teach and Educate People with the Sunniest Attitude"

On the morning of March 25th, I had the honor to attend a lecture on psychology given by Professor Xiong, a visiting professor in Tsinghua University. Professor Xiong won the audience's laughter and applause again and again with his humorous language and thought-provoking cases. At the same time, in this lecture, what impressed us most was Professor Xiong's sincere and somewhat naughty words-"accept". Everything has its reasons for existence and growth. Since we can't change the laws of nature, we have to "accept"! "Acceptance" is not only obedience to the laws of nature, but also the psychological balance of not accepting oneself honestly. Only by accepting it frankly from the heart can we have a natural and happy sunshine mentality! So I will express my lesson with the title "I accept my happiness".

In fact, I stroked my personal feelings, feeling that the topic and content may not be very consistent, but they are almost around the theme. After listening to Professor Xiong's lecture, I summarized the following points:

1. How do teachers view the differences between students?

Professor Xiong directly pointed out that a person's mental health is the happiness of his psychological feelings. As teachers, we have to face a large group of children with individual differences every day. In order to keep our psychological balance and happiness at all times, we must correctly treat the individual differences of these students. He gave an example: a teacher frowned all day and asked him why. The reason is that a student's grades are always not high. Every day when the teacher makes up for it, he stays put. It's really stupid Professor Xiong said, then you deserve to die of anxiety. Since you have made so much effort, the child is still the same. After many tests, you have reached a conclusion for your child. Then you can accept it. Why bother yourself? Professor Xiong said that how far a person can run and how high he can fly is determined by thousands of reasons. A person's IQ level (he points out how much is high IQ, how much is normal and how much is low IQ) is also determined by many reasons. A person's natural qualifications are like this, and you can't change them. Since we can't change the reality, we can only accept it calmly. Hard work is what you should do, but you should reap sorrow. You should let the student go so that he can't be in Alexandria every day, and you should let yourself go so that you can't be sad all day (to be honest, I can't copy what Professor Xiong said as it is, but the meaning probably hasn't changed). Think about yourself and look at your peers, don't you? At the same time, as a teacher and a parent, I often indulge in "hating iron and not turning into steel" and blame myself. I once dreamed that my children could become as promising as everyone imagined even if they could not grow into a phoenix one day under their own cultivation, but the reality often couldn't keep up with your dream, because whether this iron can eventually become steel is also determined by thousands of reasons. Happiness can't be bought with money. If you want happiness, just accept the established reality.

Second, we should cultivate hobbies and improve our self-confidence.

If a person has his own hobbies, and can have an unusual performance in a hobby, then your self-confidence will naturally improve. In children's childhood, cultivating children's hobbies can help him improve his self-confidence and make him happier and more comfortable in getting along with his peers. We often find that some children show psychological interpersonal barriers in school, which may be caused by many reasons, but there are also many reasons why children have no hobbies and lack self-confidence. My son goes to preschool and comes back from school covered in dust or sweating every day. After seeing his friend's children, he was clean from top to bottom, and I began to scold my son. But instead, he complained to me that he would not play games with anyone. Once again, I learned that the child watched others play after class or in the game class, and did not gather in the crowd at all. Everyone else was playing here and there, but he lost interest and a lot of fun playing with his companions. Having an extraordinary hobby or specialty can also improve one's self-confidence. If you can stand out in a hobby, you will naturally be very popular in the same hobby. If the popularity index is high, self-confidence is enough, and self-confidence in interacting with people will be natural. How can there be obstacles in interpersonal communication? Professor Xiong said that any hobby can be cultivated. Although some people are born with it, for example, some people like writing, others like singing, but more depends on the cultivation of the day after tomorrow. Many of our teachers also lack hobbies. It is necessary for us to cultivate some hobbies after work and study. When everyone is involved in an activity and you are watching from a distance, you must be behind the times, unpopular, and insecure in communication. The result may be loneliness and depression, and there are too many cases in reality. Therefore, Professor Xiong said that it is the best way for teachers to force themselves to participate in activities and cultivate some hobbies.

The third is to tap the source of motivation for job burnout.

I once read such a passage in the preface of Mr. Xia Mianzun, the translator of the Chinese version of Education for Love: "Education is like digging the ground. Some people say that the square is good, others say that the circle is good, and it will change endlessly, but it ignores the water as the element of the pool. What is water in education? It's love, it's love. Without love, education will become a stagnant pool. No matter whether you are square or round, you can't escape a kind of emptiness. " I feel particularly profound that education is the education of people. In this education, different things happen every day, and these people also have different changes every day. If we turn a blind eye to these things, we will lose interest in education, and then we will become ordinary gardeners who prune these flowers and trees every day without showing any preference or appreciation. Hehe, let's make friends with the word "job burnout". As Mr. Xia said, digging a pond is not important, square or round, and water is important. Then I can understand that it doesn't matter whether a teacher is excellent or not. What is important is whether you can devote decades of care and love to your students in this career. I can also understand that maybe it doesn't matter how many methods and skills students learn from us, what matters is how much kindness and integrity, courage and honesty they inherit, because this is the real value of our profession. I can also understand that it is not important for us educators to eventually become educators. What is important is that we can always stick to our dreams and visions at the beginning of teaching, so that our enthusiasm and passion will always accompany our educational journey. If we want to do it, we will be gardeners who know both technology and appreciation. If we want to do this, we will be happy and tireless engineers of human soul.

Fourth, treat teachers' efforts and labor correctly.

Since Professor Xiong's spiritual package has been given to our teacher, it will certainly bring us spiritual satisfaction, and at the same time, it is proposed that if we want to get spiritual satisfaction and happiness, we should correctly treat our own efforts and labor. Professor Xiong said that giving is growth. Socrates also said: "Teachers are the biggest givers and the biggest beneficiaries." Giving is growth. If you grow up, you will improve yourself. For example, teachers Wei Shusheng and Li Zhenxi, who are famous all over the country, are the biggest contributors and beneficiaries on the education front. Ha ha, of course I don't have their natural qualifications, but I can also say happily to my own efforts and labor that I am harvesting the joy of growth!

Fifth, how can we make everyone happy?

Laozi said: "So, knowing enough is not humiliating, and contentment is not dangerous and can last for a long time." It means: therefore, knowing that satisfaction will not bring shame to yourself; If you know enough is enough, you won't be in danger and you will live a long life. Hehe, the final confession of this meaning is of course: people, don't be greedy! Professor Xiong said that we often don't feel happy because we have too much greed, which often makes us uneasy, and greed often makes us unable to accept the reality calmly. What a happy thing it is to be content. It makes people happy and makes themselves happy. Why not? Finally, let me end today's speech by quoting a classic quote from teacher Li Zhenxi. When each of us has this good idea, we will all be the happiest people in the world!

"Let people feel happy because of my existence!"
