A five-minute humorous story in class
Long ago, there was a fox in the forest. He thinks he is the cleverest animal in the forest, and no one can compare with him. One day, he met a rabbit by the river. He proudly said to the rabbit, "Mr. Rabbit, I am the smartest animal in the forest. No one can lie to me." The rabbit said, "Well, Mr. Fox, please wait for me here. I'll try to cheat you." So the rabbit left and the fox waited and waited. Several hours passed, and the rabbit still didn't come back. A turtle passed by here. He asked, "Mr. Fox, what are you doing here?" The fox told the tortoise about him and the rabbit. The tortoise smiled: "Mr. Fox, you were fooled by the rabbit." Since then, the fox has never said that he is the smartest animal in the forest.
