There is a seesaw relationship between purchasing and PMC. If PMC is well planned, procurement will be easy; If PMC neglects its duty, the procurement will be exhausted. Because PMC is actually the upstream department of procurement, responsible for planning what to buy, how much to buy and when to buy, and the procurement is implemented.

There is no direct connection between purchasing and production. In a well-managed company, complaints, requirements, urging and replacement of materials in production should be sought from PMC department, and then feedback from PMC to purchasing department. The influence of purchasing on production is first to stop work and wait for materials, and then the unqualified material specifications or quality affect the production quality. In general, disputes between procurement and production are not easy to occur.

On the contrary, production affects procurement more indirectly. The more chaotic the production is, the more difficult and inaccurate the PMC plans the materials, and the more tired the procurement is.
