Now there are plastic materials that can be used for mine carving, and BASF has engineering plastics that can be used for mine carving. Generally, plastic materials can't be engraved by laser, mainly because plastic materials can't react with laser, so they can't attach metals to them. BASF's laser engraving material is made by adding something that can react with laser (it seems that this material is developed by a European company that produces laser engraving machines, and only they can make this material in the world, and no one knows what it is now).
