Then you have to figure out a problem first. Why do preschool children know about crocodiles, zebras, giraffes and dinosaurs? Because they are interested and like to listen to the stories of these animals.

However, this kind of teaching material is not suitable for China.

Most people in China can't speak English since pre-school. Generally speaking, students begin to learn English in the third grade, and it will be earlier in coastal cities and begin to learn English in the first grade of primary school.

Although children at this stage are curious, they are not so naive.

If preschool children know the world through similarity, then after primary school, children begin to explore the real phenomenon of this world.

Crocodiles and zebras, except for a natural creature, have little attraction to them.

Therefore, there is no interest in knowing such words.

Primary school students in China are not at the same level as those in the United States.

1 grade was learned in American elementary school 1 grade.

But this textbook, even if it is taught by domestic sixth-grade students, is still very difficult, and many of them will not understand it.

There are many children's books that we adults simply can't understand.

If you want to learn American textbooks, you must let your child learn textbooks of the same age, otherwise he will find it difficult to understand the contents of these texts.

But learning textbooks of the same age, our vocabulary, grammar and other aspects are not up to standard.

If you persist in studying, it will increase the burden.

In other words, a fifth-grade primary school student should learn English, the content should be of interest to fifth-grade students, but the difficulty should be American 1 level. However, the American language is not designed for us who learn foreign languages.

Don't forget an important fact. American languages are not written for foreign language learners, but are used to learn their mother tongue.
