"Quality development credits" include "knowledge development credits and skill development credits". "Extended knowledge credits" is an elective course offered by the school, and "extended skills credits" refers to students' independent participation in scientific research, technology development, skills training, academic competitions, literature and art sports and various social practices according to their own specialties and hobbies or under the guidance of teachers.
Outstanding achievements, approved by the school, awarded recognized credits. The elective credits for knowledge development shall not be less than 2 credits, and the insufficient credits can be replaced by skills development credits, and the results are counted as qualified.
All ordinary full-time students in our school must obtain the minimum quality extension credits in the flexible school year before they can apply to the school for graduation. Quality development credits and other course credits are not calculated and exchanged repeatedly.

The recognition scope of students' quality extension credits: various academic competitions, innovative training programs for college students, publishing academic papers and works, hosting or participating in scientific research projects, obtaining national patents, various vocational skills certificates, and cultural, sports and social practice activities at all levels (referring to the state, provinces, ministries, municipal governments or relevant administrative departments and schools).
The accreditation of quality extension credits is based on the Accreditation and Evaluation Criteria for Students' Quality Extension Credits of Yancheng Institute of Technology (see annex).
